CDL Class A Driver

Our client here in Des Moines is adding Class A CDL driver to their team! This is a direct hire position where you are only overnight once or twice a month! Duties: - Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts - Safely operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, or loaders - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating commercial vehicles - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment - Secure cargo for transport using straps, chains, or other securing devices - Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts or logbooks Qualifications: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements - Ability to load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment or manual labor - Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team We're an equal opportunity employer.
