Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Our client in Adel is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Manager for 1st shift operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment as well as installing, connecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems. They will also be required to follow the National Electric Code and comply with state and local building codes.

Hours: Fri/Sat/Sun 6am-6pm

Hourly wage: $30.00

Work 36 hours get paid for 40!!

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain all equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Install, connect, and test electrical systems for a variety of machines.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and hacksaws, as well as power tools, in order to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and increase longevity.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with state and local building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
