Mechanical Engineer

Our client in Adel, IA is searching for a dedicated, ambitious, and talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This a direct hire, full-time position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: $75,000.00 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field with 2-5 years of experience working in engineering.
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, CAD software and experience designing mechanical systems and products while working in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of coatings, Powder Coating, Galvanizing, Epoxy Coating, etc.
• Must be self-motivated and have exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conceptualize, prototype, and create mechanical designs for new products.
• Develop testing processes, engineering calculations, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
• Collaborate with engineering and work with vendors and contractors
